Natural Stone Edging - Stones offer a natural look, and are the most common method of bordering your pond. Easy to match to your pond and create that seamless nature look. This is our primary method of edging our Superior Ponds as it is the most natural and seamless method.
Plant Border - The edge of your pond can be softened by planting a variety of moisture-loving plants along the edge. If you’re looking for a clean look, this isn’t the choice for you as it can begin to look a bit more wild and unmanaged without more regular upkeep. However, this jumps head-first into the natural and organic pond aesthetic.
Paver or Brick Edging - Pavers and bricks give a clean and more formal appearance to your pond space. The style options are unlimited, as well as provide a dedicated sitting and relaxing area.
Grass Edge - If you want super simple, a grass edge is all you need. However, this can be much harder for upkeep and maintenance. Grass clippings and organic matter can increase your ponds need for cleaning. You can also run into more issues with mud around your pond edge. But, it is an option.
Stepping Stones - Stepping stones, or ledges, going down to your pond could be what you need when you’re wanting to dip your feet in the edge of your pond and connect with your water feature. If you want to make relaxing with your pond easy, this is a great way to make that happen!
Sloping Beach - While a bit ambitious, a sloping sandy beach down to your pond edge is an option. This can be more involved, but may be the look you’re hoping to achieve in your pond space.

Pond edging isn’t just about creating a visually appealing border, but helps incorporate your pond into the larger landscape of your yard and your own lifestyle.
